A quieter, more restrained vision of Shree Ji.
This Deccan composition is built through a muted palette, fine linework and the distinctive white surface associated with khariya painting.
The visual language is very different from the richly coloured Pichwai tradition of Nathdwara. Here, the mood comes from restraint soft tonal variation, delicate detailing and the still presence of Shree Ji at the centre.
Hand-painted on cotton using traditional Deccan material preparation.
